Born and raised in Prince George, Dean recently returned to the area after 22 years. During his absence, he has lived and worked overseas, Northwest BC and the Kootenays. During his travels, he has performed at countless special public and private events as well as entertaining patrons in coffee shops, pubs and bars with his eclectic mix of covers of rock, country, jazz and folk. At Dean’s shows, one is as likely to hear Duran Duran as Leonard Cohen. Dean’s original music combines his baritone voice combined with steel, nylon or electric guitars. For Dean, songwriting has long been a way of stewarding his life experiences and a vision of a better world and better-lived life.
